Anyone know the official figures for the mounting depth of the speakers? I think the front is more of a concern than the back due to the windows (rear windows only go down halfway anyway).

I've already fitted new speakers all round so I'm just trying to get a clear guide for the mounting depth so other people don't run into problems. I bought and fitted some Pioneer coaxials with a 64.5mm mounting depth, and I found that they obstructed the windows slightly. They didn't stop them going down, but rubbed against them causing marks.

I overcame this problem fairly easily though, just meant I had to take the door cards off again! Since I'm not using the supplied speaker grilles, I took the mesh out of them and fitted the plastic part inbetween the speaker and the adapters, to act as an extra spacer. Solved, only brought them out by an extra 5-10mm as well.

Is 64.5mm quite a big depth? What does everyone else have?

Useful info, thanks. Only had our Dynamic for a few weeks now and I was adamant that I'd need to upgrade the audio. However, I tweaked with the various settings and it actually sounds quite acceptable now! Prefer to leave as is for now but may upgrade the HU for one with Bluetooth, USB/SD ports etc.
