Only just noticed today as its been raining quite heavy, but has any one else noticed that when your wipers are on full, when you come to a standstill, say at traffic lights, the car senses this and switches them to intermittant? the car then puts them back on full as you pull away !! very clever indeed !!

I thought it was an electrical fault at first, clever little car !!

Yes and if you're in reverse, the rear one comes on, as you know, but if they're not on and you push up to wipe once, it will wipe the front AND the rear if you're in reverse. Maybe you knew that.

I also found out the Panda has parking lights and you can put both, just left or just right ones on (but i'm not sure how long they stay on for) Follow me home headlights are handy too but did you know if you hold it for two seconds, they go off.

Nice functions on the panda:)

My 1998 Renault megane Coupe had that function to...

EH? explain?

Is it just my rear wiper or is everyone's the same. When on intermittent on the front, from the point you switch the rear wiper to when it actually comes on, there is a lag time of about a second or 2.

It will sweep the rear screen in time with the front wipers so it just depends when you switch the rear wiper on.

Sorry, the follow me home headlights. How do i turn them on?

Pull the stalk to flash the main beam with the ignition off. Display will show "Follow me 30s" to show it's activated for 30 seconds. Pull again to count up in 30 second increments. Will count itself down and switch the lights off, even if you've shut and locked the car.

How long is the max you can have them on for

wow! and thanks (y)

This little car continues to amaze me. (and this forum!)

Guess I should have read the manual. I guess I wil find more stuff to amaze me.
:D

Do you remember how?
You don't mean FOLLOW ME HOME,right?

I don't have the manual to hand but I think if you leave the headlight switch in the on position with the engine off the side/parking lights stay on, or you can leave the car with the indicator stalk in the down or up position to just leave a particular side on...

I tried it, but nothing happened.

For the parking lights, you have to turn the sidelights on after switching off the ignition. Then indicate left for just the left side ones on, indicate right for the right hand side or don't indicate for both sides.

Note that if you turn off the ignition with the sidelights or headlights switched on, it turns them off.
