Is it just me or does emailing them your chassis number or reg plate seem a bit dodgy??:confused:
Whats wrong with you just telling them you have a Panda?
And why are they so cheap? Call me cynical but it looks a bit dodgy...

Interesting to look at their other items for sale. These consist of Fiat and Renault parts, a forecourt canopy and 2,800 sq. feet of flooring.
Looks like a dealer who has gone out of business.
I don't see a problem with their request for reg. no. or chassis no. Possibly the parts dept guy from the closed dealer is handling the sale and he would naturally want these details to check the suitability of parts for a given vehicle, indeed if someone in a car parts dept did not do this I would be more worried about his competence.
OK, this spoiler would probably fit just about any Panda but I don't see anything wrong with proper procedures being followed.

Nothing dodgy about these people, Tates is one of the largest multi-franchise car dealers in the south of England.

I went down there a few days ago to collect a new complete clutch kit for my Stilo Jtd, only £25, absolute bargain.

Dave.

They're selling via ebay... If you want to buy the part you don't even need to own a Panda. Just reply that you want the part but respectfully wish to decline to give your chassis number. Buyer then takes responsibility for the part being suitable for the vehicle.

Unless they are going to supply it painted  (which would be nice of them :D )

They just got a payment of £20 from me, no chassis number or ought else :D

I had already checked the part number with fiat's website and my accessory catalogue, so I knew it was for the Panda :D

If it fits like the 100hp roof spoiler can I ask how are you going to mount it through the rear window?
