Had a similar thing when the fiat garage in salford went bust,
I recently got a couple of niggles sorted at Reg Vardy, which is now part of Evans Halshaw in Stockport, which has Fiat Service department...

I was there on Saturday they informed me that they went into administration last Friday.
Gutted really as they would have been really keen to help. It may transpire that they get bought out and resume trading, but who knows really.
I've heard they may be going the same way. I was warned not to go to them looking for a new car.... could just be hearsay though.

I thought the Stockport garage had already gone, I seem to remember getting a letter which said that Stoneacre at Hyde were doing their business.
Heard a few times 'through the grapevine' that evans halshaw were in a few difficulties.
I think its a sign of things to come,garages aint making money & I think we will see quite a few dissapear.
hi guys, i was the service advisor at moss rose motors, im really gutted its gone, but thats wot u get wen the directors cant keep there hands off the proffits.... i will try 2 help with any1 who is after a fiat specialist, iv been on the spanners at moss rose for the past 4 years and theres not much i dont know or know of about the fiats, try and steer clear of evans halshaw as they are on the same slippery slope as we were.
would any of you guys be interested in a fiat and MG Rover service center setting up in macc?? just testing the water at the mo but if there is enough interest i may be able to put something together with my workmates.

I bought my current car from Mossrose, i lived in Macc up until february, now in Wilmslow but i'd be happy going to Macc for servicing. Am a bit gutted the dealer folded really as i was just about to upgrade my car.

Just goes to show you can't run a dealership when you make £100 profit on a car.
We bought a car on the internet (a Nissan) from Moss Rose. Good deal but we had a parking sensor problem that was really badly handled. Nissan UK got involved but General Manager of Moss RM didn't even acknowledge two letters acquainting him with the problems in his service dept. No wonder they have gone!

I heard similar rumours about reg vardi being shakey as they are tied into the pendragon group.
I use Tinity Diesal in Manchster (near stangeways), not a fiat dealer but friendly and reliable for general servicing. And yes they do petrol as well
