What do you make of the Hill holder on the Panda? It seems like a great idea, but does it add anything in practice?

Unless you spend most of the time stuck in traffic on a hill. Save yourself a lot of money and use the (hand)brake instead. Other than a neat trick of the ESP system, it doesn't really add anything if you ask me.

It's not now an option for Dualogic according to current info, anyone here got it?
Anyone only used to normal automatics probably would have to learn to use the handbrake as sitting in traffic on a slope & slipping the clutch will lead to premature failure on both manual & semi auto's

Just learn. It's not that hard. I use the handbrake in my auto Panda. Hill holder wasn't around 15 years ago, lol.:p

I'd say it's usefull in some situations, I've got it and it's a nice feature. But I could live fine without it. The thing is that it comes with ESP, in the VDC package, and ESP is a very useful feature that got me out of some nasty situations (that I wouldn't get into if I had no ESP, of course :D )
