It has been well documented on this site about the knocking from the rear suspension that sems to be a "feature" of the car. Mine does it with a vengance and my plan was to get it looked at when it went in for a service.

However my knocking, which seems to be getting worse, is now accompanied by the car sitting unevenly at the back. Parked on level gound, with the handbrake off, the nearside rear, (the side the knocking comes from), is sitting 3/4 inch lower than the offside. I have tried bouncing the car to try reset the suspension but no joy.

I have had a snout round under the car and can't see anything amiss but it really needs to go on a ramp for a proper look see.

Anyone else with the knocking "feature" got this problem?

Well if its sagging its pretty much going to be spring or damper, when the rear dampers kept breaking on my dads jag, there was bad knocking as soon as they were broken.

Could be a broken spring too of course? whats it like to drive apart from the noise?

Its got a warranty though eh? good job really

Yeah mine does it also, and did before I fitted the Ragazzon. However it got to a point where I couldn't bear it so took it to Fiat and they said 'it's your aftermarket exhaust' :bang: It bloody well isn't but I ain't got a leg to stand on so I have to try to ignore it :yuck:

Or wait for a catastrophic failure of the rear suspension if that is what is the cause of the knocking, then I can say to Fiat 'haaa, told you so, fix it :p'

mines knocking really badly, not noticed it sitting unevenly but its shocking over bumpy bits in the road, Ive had the car on ramps and checked every nut and bolt and found nothing, so I'm thinking shocks now
