Although the plates look good they won't be legal. There are very specific dimensions and fonts that should be adhered to.
Most Feds will ignore plate mods and I suspect they wouldn't bother you for the type you possess. However, you will find that a keen traffic fed will prosecute. In addition, from time to time most forces will run some kind of operation to deal with illegal plates.
It's your gamble. You won't get points but you may get fined or be given a vehicle defect rectification form. If you get one of these you have to get your car legal and have the form stamped by a garage to verify that the mod has been carried out.

Got mine fitted now, look the corgi's conkers, used sticky pads on the rear one and screwed the front one (with sticky pads too)

Not 'street legal' BUT (here comes my defence lol) the plates don't have daft fonts or letters and numbers moved about to make words, they just look like standard plates so don't raise attention from the 'Feds'.

The 'I' is illegal too

But, asked a couple of traffic cops in the petrol station if they looked legal, they said "They look fine to us" and their PNC could read them so I'm happy
