Technical Mjet problem?

Whilst following the hilarious 'ecneps' saga earlier today I came across the following article and I wondered if anyone on here had seen it and had any more insight?

Its sort of old news now I guess, but as I'm on my way to pick up a new Mjet tomorrow I did panic a bit I must admit....

Hmmm, seems like they're sorting it though. Must have been bad to stop production!

Think there's threads on this in the 500 section, it was duff head gaskets iirc.
