could always ask the question "was the structural damage to the a-pillar and bulkhead area caused by the arrival of a peugeot at speed fully and properly repaired back to OEM spec?"

wonder if he'd answer and make it public?:D

car was written off, whoever buys that is in for a treat, I still have the spare key should the new owner join the forum....and the handbook lol, **** wheels though :(

I'd feel so sorry for the un-suspecting future owner, although at least they'd have an extra key lol, I did fancy leading him on, but thought the question hit the spot quite well lol

i think you are all being a bit harsh here. none of you have viewed the car since it has been repaired, so who are any of you to call him a conman etc

yes it may have been written off, but remember when insurance companies write off a car they do it considering how long it would take to repair if they are shelling out for storage and a hire car etc.

from what i can see in the advert, he hasn't said it has been written off - but he hasn't said it hasn't either. he isn't lying, he's just bought a car, repaired it and is now selling it.

in the past i've bought puntos with blown head gaskets, repaired them and then sold them - making many times what i've spent on the car. i never told the owners that the head gasket had been blown in the past because it has been fixed.
