Hi folks:p

Has anyone done the following to their Pandas?

Lowered them- has it sacrificed the handling?

Cams/exhaust/remap- what are the gains:confused:

Pick my 100HP up next week. Its supposed to just be a runaround BUT......;)

The 100hp is already lowered and tuned compaired to standard mk3 Panda's isn't it? Why would you want to do anything else?

More to enhance the looks as i dont think it will make much difference to the handling so as long as it doesnt spoil it thats my concern:)

Another person who wants to tune it before they've even driven it! Wait and see and then decide if you need to do anything to it....

I have driven it a cpl of times. Its just a bit, well, weedy. Handles nicely but feel it could do with a kick up the rear;)

Granted there are a few things to do as Stu Demon already mentioned, i have the induction kit and am eagerly awaiting the remap. I have also fitted the sports pedals and a few other things that are personal preference. But leave it standard for a while and see what you think, then do any mods and it will seem like a slightly different car every time you change something thus always keeping it interesting!:)

I would have thought anything would feel "weedy" if you have an EVO FQ-400 in your current line-up!!:D

I have the Ragazzon exhaust with the straight through centre pipe and the GSR induction kit. It sounds awesome now and at first I thought it hadn't made a difference to the performance but after a while I did notice a slight improvement so I'm chuffed to bits with it. Not that I wasn't beforehand, and that's coming to the 100HP after owning a C2 VTS previously. The long awaited remap would make it even quicker than the C2 (power to weight) and that should be enough. I mean if you had the money and the patience you could go down the cams route and whatnot (or buy a 150 t-jet lump that's meant for the Bravo!) but ultimately you might aswell buy a faster car with a bigger engine if you find the 100HP weedy ;)

I quite agree with you charlied. I am picking up my 100HP - although it fills more like 100 ponies - today. Reason? Driving A8 in town with its 21l/100km consumption is ... not green :). The 22B on the other hand is just pure disapointment in town. So what that it can do 0-100km in under 4s if there are plenty cars around you... Hence the 100HP, car with a character . My wife even checked my temperature to make sure a am OK, I convinced her this is the best thing one can buy AND we can tow it behind our car for holidays... However since our wheelbarow and lawnmover are not quite standard, the 100HP will feel out of place - not quite part of family. Simply it HAS to be modified. Simpe things... intake exhaust... remap... and the ride has to be looked into.

PS.: Just in case somebody asks: I had a dealer car for the day yesteday, and have done some 300km in town, highway and rough backroads. OK not my usual run-around routine but close.

Do you own one?

I have had induction so far, want a remap IF they crack it, plus it is lowered.

Also want to be involved in any exhaust development as well.

Whats it like on the lowered suspension? Ride ok?

Yeah good point, very good in fact but i wonder how long i can leave it alone loolol

Whats it like noise wise on the motorway?

Noise wise on the motorway it's great, neither the exhaust or induction intrude as much as you would think. There's a slight growl from the induction under hard acceleration i.e. overtaking but while cruising it's fine ;)

Ace! So where did you get your from?

Re the 300km: friend's sister is one of the sales ladies there... :). No discount though :( - it would be from hers commision...

Now the tuning aspect of things. Is the 100hp ecu 'inteligent' enough to see it flows better with different intake/exhaust? Than on Gazela Racing site they have cams, surelly it affects fueling, timing etc. No mention there to tune the cars after fitting any of those... Bit of a waste and dangerous.

I believe its re-mappable....

Nobody in the UK has cracked the communications with the HP ecu yet, as far as I'm aware.

The car may run a bit fluffy with a lot of tuning done to it and may even bring on the ecu warning light if the signals it receives aren't within 'normal HP' parameters - i.e. if the sensors are teling it to chuck a load more fuel in than standard, it won't like it.

i dont understand why the 100hp has this ecu, i understand why it on the gp because that has that actuator to block of one inlet port and varibale cam timming stuff. but why is it on a hp, didnt see no weired stuff on stus engine

i still thinking you could stick a punto mk2b 1.4 ecu (new) into the 100hp and map that
