hi guys, my cat has gone on my 100HP and wondered if anyone else has had it go yet? cracked right on the weld of the cat and down pipe,

When mine had it's first service they said that it needed a new exhaust due to damage,they didn't say what though.I'll ask on Saturday when they put the new one on under warranty.Could be the start of a common fault maybe

poss, i know i got reggazzon on there, but the cat is far at the front on the car, and the down pipe that goes under the car is bolted with a bracket to the engine?!?! thought that was strange, as the engine moves alot!!
You will very probable get a problem now with the warranty and they wont honour it as you have fitted an after market exhaust system..cat is going to cost a pretty penny I recon..:bang:

ah, thats where ya wrong, they are doin it under warrenty, cuz its still part of the standard system at the front, but they did say if it goes again, it wouldnt be, cuz it will be down to the raggazzon exhaust, but at mo, its under warrenty, part is back order too
Well count yourself lucky this time you must have a very lenient dealer others wouldn't have been so and made you pay..

Does either the standard car and/or Regazzoni system have a flexi section in it? There often is a flexible section to take up relative movement, but I don't know about Pandas.

there is a flexible section, cuz thats what fiat said, as it didnt effect the cat having the reggazzon on there, and the system was fitted at my dealer i work at (VW), so care was taken when fitting it , so hope all is well with it, cat is back order till mid next week, and have a hire car from the dealer, a 1.1 active panda, fairly pokey for a lil car
