So I have sorted the free 7 day insurance it has all been registered, and I am waiting on my brand new 100 hp in Electroclash Grey!

Hopefully I will get the call that it is ready to go very soon, despite the crap weather I want to get driving!! My sexy lady has only seen it in pictures!

Any thing I should look out for when I pick it up?

Take somebody with you and have a good look around the bodywork before you accept the vehicle - otherwise, good luck and enjoy (y)

Good order unless anyone else knows different. I collected a Dynamic yesterday and found two deep gouges on the passenger side, in fact the last 5mm of a key blade looked to be a perfect fit. Sorted when we rejected the car and got it swapped out for another. I'd suggest that to be very unusual, but you have to check.

basically how would you expect your brand new car to be presented? pristine, unmarked? then that's how it should be, no scuffs in your alloys, no scratches on the paintwork, etc

oh, and enjoy(y)

Thank you to you both, I am way to excited at the mo so some good level headed advice is always appreciated.

Cheers.

When I popped into my dealer to look over my car the day before collecting it, I went in "level-headed" and found a 3 inch fine horizontal scratch near the bottom of the driver's door. I spoke to the salesman and asked politely if that could be made to disappear before I collected (and paid for) the car. He promised it would, and he delivered. No sign of it at all now.

So although it's your favouritist car ever and you're excited about picking it up, it pays to be objective when viewing the car for the last time before you take ownership.

Enjoy!

Me too sorted 7 days free insurance on my 100hp was told might be here Friday 28th but no , sadness is setting in, just got back from dealer should  be here next week (y) fingers crossed hope all goes well.

as above just check the condition of the body work and interior, and don't be afraid to be thorough, theres not too much to look out for, keep an eye on the tyres as they wear in, and enjoy the first few thousand miles without the driver's seat creak! :D
