Hello everyone...

I'm really glad I have found this forum and I'm sure all the treads will come in handy when I actually get the time to go through them.

I am seriously considering ordering a Panda 100hp before the summer. My problem is that I live in the south Spain and have found it impossible to get a test drive so will have to rely on the raving road tests I read in magazines & on the web.

OK, let me get to the point; would anyone have a picture of the 100hp in white as I cannot seem to find any. Also, living in the sunniest part of Europe, would I be crazy fitting a skydome. Will the AC/climate control be able to cope with the heat accumulation of a car left parked in the sun. BTW does the skydome come with interior blinds.

All help is appreciated.

I was staggered how powerful the climate control is for such a small car and it certainly seems capable of heating or freezing the whole of the car in not very much time. Not sure how it would cope with a Spanish summer though - we're still waiting for our winter to end!

Chris

That would be my car you're after!!!

The skydome is great and doesn't get too hot at all in the summer. It has twin blinds too so it keeps it a bit cooler when you park it up.

Looks good, almost pulled the trigger on a white one but held out for my first choice black. Liking the skydome too, gonna miss having a sunroof.....

Thank you all and especially you Forevertom for the excellent pictures.

White it will be:worship:

Skydome & Climate are top of the options list. Just need to sort out the ipod connection...

The white 100hp with Skydome looks really nice.

I would recommend white colour but not the glass roof in Spain as the paint reflects heat beter than the other colours whereas the glass roof absorbs it. Perhaps you should save the cash and get climate control instead and put in a better stereo.

My Panda is outside all day in Valencia and cos of the all the glass surfaces it does get quite hot inside but that's why AC was invented and being a small car it soon cools down.

Regarding the test drive I had the same problem and in the end I tested a 500 1.4 lounge (posh spice) which is similar although blander than the 100hp (sporty spice) and it has the glass roof too.

Went for the 100hp in the end as it is more exclusive.

I hope this winter ends soon! Although a bout of deep snow would allow me to test my ESP

It is the strangest of sensations at first but it is rather useful!!

Have fun today picking it up!

Thanks Valencia100hp. I hope you enjoyed the Fallas!!! I think I may just have to do the same as you if I want a test drive, although I believe that there is a 2nd hand one for sale somewhere in the area so I may just get lucky...

Can I ask you how long you have had your Panda, how long it took to deliver and if you are happy with the level of service offered by Fiat in Spain

As far as i'm concerned white is the only way to go with the 100HP. Yours looks great with the roof - it would even better if you had the pandamonium pack! (y)
Couldn't get it when I ordered the car.

I may do the callipers this summer but I'm not sure yet.

Red callipers look great on a white car e.g GP or 500 Abarth show cars, if you can get them done profesionally and at less than the fiat option price I am sure you won't regret it.

Any other 100hp or prospective 100hp owners in Spain lurking? It would be nice to set up an owners club - we may even get government funding for protecting a rare or endangered species.

Easy enough to DIY paint them with some smooth red Hammerite as well :D

I have the white 100hp without the skydome - didn't want to add any more weight than I had to. Sad way of thinking, I know ;) And, I prefer the look without the skydome....

You need to lose the fried egg look on your lights Layney :)

Get some white or chrome indicator bulbs.

Still think the white looks great on the 100hp, and love the look of the one with the sky dome

Don't worry - I have a few mods on the way (y)
Only subtle mods planned 'cause I love the car how it is! I agree with your comment about the indicators though....
