Non Fiat anti scuff rubbers?

We're picking up a basic, 1.2 Dynamic on Friday, does anyone have a source for non Fiat anti scuff rubbers to stick along the door body line? Yes, I know most people are taking them off, but the wife wants some - as it's her car, seems fair enough. Local Halripyouofffords and Motorhaventgotaclueworld don't stock such things and it's a long time since I went looking for such stuff. I've found a set on Ebay, but don't want to rely on a seller based in Poland
Any help appreciated.

Edit: Sorry, I've discovered they're actually called, "Side rubbing strips". Who knew?

That was quick! No Poundland in this neck of the woods - as in, out in the sticks - hopefully I can have a wander round some spares type places in Newport on the weekend. Thanks.

That's the problem, we're so far out we get charged the stealth tax, we only have a pound shop. We'd kill for a 99p once

Re: Non Fiat anti scuff rubbers?

Why not just buy the official Fiat ones from your dealer?

Re: Non Fiat anti scuff rubbers?

The nearest dealer to us is a 40 odd mile round trip and we can only get down there on a Saturday morning. Although we're collecting the car tomorrow, Friday, we're unable to get a free weekend for another month - and possibly not even then. I was sort of hoping to get a third party item locally (Once upon a time - OK, years ago - practically every town had a bolt on bits shop which would have stocked such things, but it's obviously no longer the case ) Also, although I'd much prefer the correct, Fiat items, 70 ish seems a lot for some sticky backed rubber. No problem, I'll try and convince her it'll be fine for now and then ring the dealer and see if they might have them in stock, with the hope I can get down there mid next week - although that'll be a bus trip for me. Pah! And yes, what's 70 towards looking after a new car? But that's another reason we bought the Panda, low cost. There's still a petrol locking cap, floor mats, polish and paint sealer to get and it all adds up when you're on a budget

Am I missing something? Why wouldn't you buy from Poland?? It is where your car comes from after all.

Re: Non Fiat anti scuff rubbers?

It's Ebay, the place is awash with scammers from all over the world, let alone this country. I've plodded through it selling now and again and buying a few times, for several years. I've had one bad deal, really bad, which was my fault (never buy when under the influence of too much drink, after staggering home late and making a last second bid ) and like to think it's because I take care over who I buy from and where it is they're located. I won't sell to anyone outside the UK either. I'm sure I've missed a few Good Deals and "meeting" some very nice people as a result, but that's my choice.
Picking up the car today and it's lashing it down out there. That'll make a visual inspection difficult then - pre reg'd model by the way and not from a Fiat dealer, hence the problem with getting side rubbing strips.
