no eastern european car washers near you? sheesh, the sticks eh....:D
well get a decent wash mitt, big bucket of warm water, good quality shampoo, and get cracking....never....ever...use an autoimated car wash

I'll second that!
Polish car washes are best.

And shame on you for not washing your car in five months. :yuck:

best to rinse before washing to remove the loose dirt, use a wash mitten too, less chance of scratching the paint, I then usually use a microfibre cloth to dry it off, some wheel cleaner might be useful too, I've always used autoglym stuff on the panda when it had silver wheels, great stuff!

Since you've not bothered to clean it in months I doubt you're the kind who likes to get their paws waxy doing your own detail then. I suggest taking it to the nearly jetwash and giving the crud a good hose down before trying to 'clean' the bodywork. Start at the top, work down, logical really.

Do not go to an automatic car wash. Apart from ruining the bodywork it will not clean the crusted crud off the lower bodywork (imagine the elbow grease you need to clean this off - the carwash computer does not know how hard to scrub.

normally always wash my car but been so busy lol. think i will take it to be cleaned i paid £500 for the paint protection where i first bourght the car so it should be ok .

bet all the protection is long gone... Its just an over hyped Synthetic sealant

Have a look on Detailing world and the likes of supergard, lifeshine and diamond shine get slated (sorry to say this to you having shelled out 500 beer tokens)

as for how to wash cant go much better than following this guide

hope that helps

You will all be pleased to know that £89 later my 100hp lookes like it did the day i picked it up from Wilsons fiat in Epson, apart from the few car park dents which i really need to get sorted.

Been cleaned and polished inside and out very good job i have to say.
It smells really nice inside it will be a shame to smoke in it again.

Wont last like this for long sadly. :ROFLMAO:

£89!?

That's a hell of a price to pay. Think my local Polish place would do all that for half that price! And they're really good... :D

I'll be taking Dez along to see them later when I remove the snow from him...

Only £5 for a wash, dry, clean door shuts, polish windows and tyre black. :p

Sorry but if I hadn't cleaned my car since October I don't think i'd post on a website and brag about it, you should be ashamed and even more so that you've been ripped off to the tune of £89.

There must be some kind of cleaning service in your local supermakert or shopping centre car park, the polish cleaners do a grand job! and you have the added bonus its not eating into your freetime to much. oh and its cheap!!

never been to happy with the supermarket chappies, you leave them with keys and go off......at least with the kosovan one you are right there, and can offer some guidence when they "overlook" a part you want some attention paid to.

it's amazing how they always miss about half the plastic with the "back to black" on the panda when the mrs takes it in, but nail it all on my paj, and the panda when i do.

well i have decided to let the boyfriend was it has he is always washing his car and telling my that mine is in need of a wash. but did it today and polished it and looks great again lol. I just wish the roads were not so dirty lol:D
