I've just bought a 55 plate Fiat Panda Dynamic with 8000 miles on the clock and she's a little beauty!

In the service book I found an application for a 3rd Year Dealer Warranty Transfer Request Form.

The car is 3 years old in November 08, will Fiat still allow me to take up the extra warranty?

I'm assuming it's worth the £23.50 admin fee they require to apply?

Regards

Stuart

Give the guys a call on the number in the booklet and they will tell you if you can do it. They are most helpful. In case you didnt know the third year is an insurance based warranty administered on Fiats behalf. Weve used it, and it really works, right up to the last week of the warranty period -in my case based on miles (60k) rather than age which was only 2 yrs and a bit. In my opinion worth it.

Thanks for the advice.

As I understand it, if you are the original owner (which you aren't), you get a 3 year warranty which consists of 2 years manufacturer's warranty and 1 years dealer warranty. The final 1 year warranty has to be paid for by way of an administration fee if you are not the original owner. Er, or maybe you already knew that. If so, I think I'll go to bed.
