General Panda 100bhp mpg?

First day to and from work 40.7 mpg average ...not that pleased although I spose the Cinquecento (42-44) and especially the Seicento(41-43)would hardly manage that and were so much slower...BUT IM spoiled having driven Golf GTis ,Pumas, Astra GTEs etc etc which would return over 40mpg without too much effort.I guess French and Italian GTIs are less economical than their Japanese and especially German counterparts...

Err I got 28.9 from my last tank.

Was alot of fun mind

Drive it like you stole it its only petrol !!!

I'd be very happy with those figures. I am currently averaging 31mpg lots of short trips around town.

Got 41.5 mpg today and to be honest would have to be driving like a nun to get the official 43.5 I reckon .37 miles to and 42 miles from work mostly good fast roads/motorways...

Got 41.8mpg WITH SPORT button on today ie 0.3mpg more so I guess I stand corrected on that !It gets up to speed much quicker as opposed to the standard modes slow labouring up to speed...i guess thats ultimately more economical...have read that befpre ...accelerate steadily to speed -dont try creep up...
I think I will be driving "SPORT" mode all the time from now on ...(Thanks heavens!)Its a really fast little motor ...I reckon 'on paper' the 6 gears make the 0-60 seem much slower than the car actually is...

Nice one!

Never tried sport mode off for long enough, but doubt if it makes much difference to mpg. Surely you would just push the pedal further to get the same speed/acceleration?
