General Panda Stripes

I have got a question about the stripes on the Panda sporting.

Some seem to have stripes and others dont, were they an option? if so how much were they?

I may need some when I get hold of a Panda (depending on colour). If they were an option I guess I might have some joy tracking some down at a dealers.

I don't think you can get them from a dealer,I tried when I had my Eleganza and they told me that they don't supply them for retro-fit.

You could either have the car with or without the stripes as was your taste. I chose to have the stripes as the car was given a polymur coating after the stripes were put on.

Stripes can be purchased through the dealer as far as i'm aware.

If you would like some cool yellow stripes, just park by the roadside where they are about to paint the double yellow lines. A free service from your friendly local council.

heard a funny story about these stripes from a dealer in Hampshire, a Sporting was being prepared by the valeter who was Polish, and he started removing the stripes as he thought they were a form of paint protection!!!! Needless to say he was spotted and told to stop it!

Most graphics / printing / signwriting places will make some up for you, quite probably cheaper than Fiat. You can get them any width you like, pre-spaced on backing tapes or in whatever format you like. Ring a local place and ask.

Have just spoken to the local dealer, the stripes are £55 including vat.

Not too bad, I guess. May have to add the extra bits on the bottom of the the front bumper/radiator air intake myself at some point.
