Re: Changing Panda stereo....

Would it better to buy the Fiat cassette adapter if planning on changing to single DIN (which I am) as it will be an exact match for the rest of the dash?

Re: Changing Panda stereo....

The original Panda CD head unit is actually a single DIN unit fitted into a mounting bracket at around the mid point. You'll have to remove this internal bracket, which is secured by four easy to remove screws and a tightly fitted rear fixing bolt - which requires along Allen key or one held with pliers to remove.

Re: Changing Panda stereo....

they're the opposite way around in 04+/04- pandas, the later has the cage at the top and the earlier having the cage in the bottom (eg the cassette player)

I've got the later double size panda cd/radio up for grabs if anyone wants it, would require the decoding mentioned earlier if its to be fitted to an earlier panda
