the small pool of water appearing under the car after it's first run out, is that something from the air-con?

i'm assuming the steering goes incredibly 'floppy' at very low speeds to help manuevering?

I popped in to a friends and back out again in 5 mins, the key refused to turn in the ignition, is there some kind of extra security thing in play here? It took me quiet a few goes of locking the whole thing up and reopening it and eventually it went? I was unsure I had enabled some kind of lock out or what was going on.

The Italian woman is asking me something, I assume the bluetooth code.

Not being a 100hp owner i can only apply some of my knowledge from elsewhere-

1. The pool is probably related to the AC, a mates mondeo does this after journeys - i think its venting the water taken from the humid air.
2.The steering may well be on 'city' mode like in the punto where it makes the steering 'lighter' at low speeds and shuts off at around 40mph. There is a button (at least on the punto) that disables this
3. This is probably the steering lock - try turning the wheel from side to side as much as possible whilst turning the ignition.

Hope this helps

I personally don't think the steering gets "floppy" at low speeds.
Unlike other Fiat's, the 100HP doesn't have a "CITY" button for the steering, instead it has a "SPORT" button that actually does the excact opposite: it reduces the steering power (as well as increasing speeder response).

The water under the car, is most likely the aircon as 45Richard45 says.

Lol @ the above.

did you try the key in the other way round, or wiggling the steering (as the lock may have engaged)

the pool of water will be condensation from the aircon.
The steering is light at low speeds but I wouldn't describe it as floppy.

hope that helps!
