(G) Flummoxed

I have just bought a new Panda 100HP - dealer pre-reg on an 07 plate for a nice discount! 280 miles of spirited running in and I'm puling my hair out over the CD player.

The manual says it will play MP3 CDs, although there is no MP3 logo on the dispay. I have ripped a selection at various speeds (2x, 8x, 24x), using two different makes of CD-R, using iTunes on PC and Macintosh, or a 3rd party CD creator from Sonic, allegedly with the ISO 9660 format required as stated in the manual.

Nothing works. I get "CD ERROR" on the display. Help!

Unfortunately you have one of the ones that only comes with a standard cd player. They didnt start putting mp3 head units in until March 1st production. If you hassle Fiat enough though they might sort it for you. However... I only got mine a week ago and that's after fighting tooth and nail for 5 months!!!

it should have it as an 07 plate, I was aware only the pre 2007 build models had the issue, either way, contact fiat, they should be able to do something for you

According to Fiat they only put them in models built after March 1st. However, argue enough and you might just get one
