I am trying to decide on the right spec for a new Panda Multijet and am confused by the Fiat website configerator.

  1. Does anybody know what the Air Con Pack comprises, have read elsewhere includes roof bars, etc. ?
  2. To have height adjustable drivers seat configerator says I must have side and passenger airbags, but have been in a Panda with adjustable seat and no side airbags, confused ?
  3. Is Climate worth the extra over the Air Con Pack and does that come with roof bars ?
Sorry for all the questions but want to get it right before I buy.

Many thanks

John

1. Aircon pack equals manual aircon, roof bars and side rubbing strips.

2. It's certainly my understanding that you need the side bags to get seat height adjust on a dynamic: perhaps you sat in an Eleganza? BTW it's not really a true seat height adjust: it simply alters the angle of the seat base by raising or lowering the back of the squab. Which is main reason I got it: it is v good if you have low back problems as you can tailor the angle and thus stress on your back according to your needs.

3. Climate just comes on its own: no roof bars. As to if it's worth it that's a personal choice. I chose the manual air as I didn't think climate worth the extra cost, but others here think climate a must have.

Whatever you get, enjoy. The mulitijet is a great little car!

Aircon is much better value in pack form as you get the roof bars and side rubbing strips too, Climate is just climate, so will cost quite a bit if you want the roofbars etc. Aircon Pack is what i went for.
