Hi,

I am using a Panda 1.2 8v. Can I fit a RIM size of 15". What would the tyre size be if I were to fit a 15" rim? The current standard wheel is of 13" only.

Yes 15 inch alloys will fit just fine. Some people are using 16 inch alloys! The 100hp has 15 inch alloys with 45 profile tyres.

I thought they looked a bit skinny so used 50 profile instead to help fill out the arches (also softens the ride a bit) - pictures attached below. FYI the alloys shown are Team Dynamics Monza Rs, tyres are 195/50 R15 Toyo Proxes which grip the road very very well.

I did need to cut the end of the front suspension arm stud (both sides) in order to avoid scrubbage but that's a 30 second job which is really easy and it was definately worth it.

Hope this helps!

My '05 Panda Multijet runs 165/65s on the optional FIAT alloys but as they are coming towards the end of their life I am thinking of replacing them with 175/60s on the same rims (bit conservative I know) but am thinking of also fitting 30mm lower springs. Ip springs have been recommended. I was worried there might be clearance problems with this combination but as there have been 195s fitted to some cars it doesn't look as if that will be a problem. If anyone can offer advice about this it would be gratefully received.

Will the 100hp alloys fit on the dynamic multijet, are they lighter than the standard wheels?

Anyone know where I could possibly buy these that would be cheaper than a dealer?

If not what is the spec for alloys on the dynamic multijet - offsets, pcd etc?

gents,

what is the ET offset for the panda?
just curious what wheels from other fiats (bravo, stilo, multipla etc) larger wheel sizes that panda will fit. I think the panda is ET35, but not sure anyone know?
i'm not fussed if i upgrade to alloys or steelies
if i can get away with upgrading the missius multipla i get free steelies :)
and favours :D

Afternoon gents

The Beard - 30mm drop will present no problems, and really sorts out the handling and in particular the understeer. PI and Eibach make lowering springs for the non 100hp models.

RichyP - Alloys are heavier than the standard steel wheels due to larger diameter and width. Worth the trade off though IMHO.

petebarchetta - ET35 is what Fiat garage told me and what I have on mine - fit nicely, slight scrubbage on full lock but nothing serious.

Re: PCD, I haven't a clue as the nice man at Demon Tweeks knew what was needed and sorted that out :) If you call a Fiat garage they should be able to tell you.

i have a set of 5mm spacers i'll dig out to solve the scrubbage issue that you had. IIRC the fiat PCD is 4x98mm.

Hi,

You can fit 17" wheels to a new shape panda with 30mm lowering springs. I know, I had one. I have now sold the car but can post photos if anyone wants to see.
It was the 17" stilo wheels I had fitted, i had to fit 5mm wheel spacers front and rear but other than that they fitted right on without any rubbing whatsoever. It looked awsome.
The model I had was a 54 plate 1.2dynamic sound in black.
Hope this info is of use to some of you out there, cheers

Hey that looks really well actually, got my head thinking of running 17's now on the panda, even though ive just put new 15s on lol.
very nice mate, i like it

Hi guys i have been running 7.5x16 with 195/45/16s for around 7mths no issues apart from speedo now runs a more realistic reading, ie 30mph on speedo is around 28mph on gps instead of 25mph, et is 35 wheels are a multispoke, slightly lame on accelaration compaired to 14", Alan.

Re the post by The Beard on 6/6/07
Hi. I take it you have 14" alloy wheels. Have you tied the 175/60 tyres yet? I have just bought some 5J / 14" Fiat alloys for my wife`s multijet, and am thinking of fitting 175/60/14 tyres. Colin
