Eh up all,

I’m changing the discs and pads all round on the Cross(y)

I already wrestled the rears of the other year and put a post on here with my experiences

I need to have someone confirm the front and rear discs sizes, I’m sure the fronts are vented and appear only to have one size,

The rears are solid and come in two sizes and I ain’t pi55ing around guessing especially as I know what I’m in for on the back:bang:

Anyone confirm :D

Opting for all pagid gear, all coated discs so will help with the bl88dy rust on the rears which is a real frustration

Cheers in advance

I believe 257 vented fronts and 240 solid rears. I got my Bravo discs from the Ferodo dealer locally and as they were commercial only
(Addresses on the Ferodo web site - its well worth a good look) I think this was just to be helpful and it was very cheap. Discs were coated. I believe all Ferodo discs are now coated if I remember correctly.

I usually look on autodata.net and compare the results with ebay suppliers. As far as I know ALL the 4x4 2012+ cars have the same brake sizes.

Thanks again for your informative post on the rear brakes.

Eh up,

Thanks Panda Nut(y)

The dimensions you gave are the ones I had decided on :D

Now I just need to order from Carpartsfor less as they are £50 cheaper the Euro - just right for a Yorkshire man:worship:

Ferodo are a good shout - used em before- will look

Thanks for the note on my post - ? of a job but rewarding when you crack it - ask me again in a week or two after I’ve done it again :ROFLMAO: wobble bars and patience at the ready

Cheers for the reply - it’s what this forums all about- normal folks with a passion for stuff doing it for themselves :slayer:

Eh up from Yorkshire

Yes. All the same. 22mm thick 240 diam. Its because Cross drivers always brake hard in their angry moments! 4x4 drivers are just hauling extra weight.

I think its a best feature the strong brakes on these versions. Note to self remeber the City Cross can stop even better so dont follow too close!
