The poor ride is because of the 14 inch wheels, 15 inch not that much beter.
It start to ride well with 16 inch, and 17 inch wheels.
The bigger the wheels the better the suspension start to work.

My past Panda drove great 17" summer wheels, 16 inch winterwheels.

What? I'd say the opposite bigger wheel tends to make the car very harsh and uncomfortable over bumps

After owning mine for less than a month and having filled it up loads, I'd like a bigger fuel tank.
sort of related, I'd like a more linear fuel gauge. mine seems to go from full to 3/4s fairly slowly and then falls off a cliff in the last section, going from 1/4 to empty over just 50 miles. Mine's a diesel so it lasts a little longer...

My old 147 was the same, 100mi out of the first 1/8 of a tank, another 180mi out of the remaining 7/8.

That said I have done about 130mi for work already this week, not including commuting and other bits

Oh yes! I still get caught out, after 6 years, thinking I've got more fuel left than I have. And the range indicator goes blank very early too, so there's then a white-knuckle guessing-game about how much further you can go before the wee beastie conks out. My old Seat used to indicate the miles left down to zero, which was very useful in extremis!

And this is a fact.
I owned a Fiat Strada (Pick up) before the Panda and the fuel tank had almost twice the capacity.
I know Panda is a city car, but at least they could put a bigger tank on 4WD models.

The 4x4 models of course get a smaller tank than the regular Panda, so there’s room for the prop shaft and rear diff (35 litres as opposed to 37). That 35 litres is good for about 400 miles in mine... which is quite a long way if you’re off road :)

Smaller fuel tanks are another wheeze to drive down emissions like the deletion of spare wheels — less weight.

My other half always brims her Volvo diesel, which gives her a range of nearly 700 miles, so she only needs to refuel once a month. "But you're carrying all that extra weight around", I say! She laughs at me for only putting £30-worth in at a time, but for the sake of 5 minutes at a filling station every so often, I'd sooner travel lighter, thank you very much!

(Reader, she remains unconvinced)

IMO this makes sense for a city car, not for a model to be used in countryside. I can easily do a trip to countryside here in Portugal and need to refuel twice in the same day.

Hi.
I drove to The House of Bruar and back on Thursday. Mostly at 55-60 Mph and the odd time at 70.

Reset the Trip after filling up, 12 miles were around town. I've done many brim to brim checks on this Panda an the trip is just over 2mpg optimistic. So I reckon 54 Mpg on this run.

The only thing I would change is the engine. Probably I am not used to turbo engines but to me it drives like a dog. Reminds me of people putting racing cams on to get more power, you get the power but you can hardly drive it across the car park. To me a 4x4 should have plenty of torque from idle, so maybe a 48V system for "torque filling" on a small NA engine would be the way to go.
