Greetings All
I have recently been lucky enough to be able to buy one of the very few 2013 Pandas sold in Australia.
I love it. It has all the fiat-isms we've all grown to love. The wind up back windows, strange sequential on board computer. the vague, but notchy gearbox, the go-kart handling, the stonking torque which appears magically when you press the loud pedal, makes me smile every time, and the exhaust note which is fruity and full and reminds me of my 124 Special T... with a hole in the exhaust!
This brings me to unusual noises.
1. Is the car supposed to sound like a supermirafiori with a blown silencer or, do I have a car with a hole in the exhaust?
2. Every Fiat I've ever owned did not like any demands made on it before properly warm, but, is a serious misfire, running on one cylinder and the engine warning light usual? This chaos can be created by using too much throttle on a cold engine - anything above 1/8 throttle. It does not clear up by itself and needs the engine to be completely shut down and restarted, whereupon it behaves like a rolex watch working perfectly... ?
3. Lastly the clutch has started to emit a honking noise as it engages, once again, when cold...?
Suggestions will be appreciated, thank you.
