Planning to fit a dashcam next week, I'm happy with all the wiring at the front - what I'm worrying about is how to wire the rear camera neatly.

Seen a previous thread where the camera wire was loose between the car & the boot door (https://www.fiatforum.com/panda-iii/480014-fitting-nextbase-522gw-dashcam.html?p=4530379). But I'm wondering if I can do it even neater by running the wire through the rubber grommet/sleeve between body & boot and have it come out from behind the brake light cluster at the top of the boot door (the black "Panda" panel in the photos).

Has anyone run wires like this before on their Panda, any tips? As far as I can tell from the parts diagram, that light cluster should just pop out - right?

Also for routing the wire to the front of the car - looks like people usually go along the size around the edge of the roof trim. Wondering if it's worth trying to go "straight", down the middle of the roof so it emerges by the courtesy lights at the front..?

Cheers

Difficult one to answer.
I want to install a mag mount antenna in the centre of the roof for amateur radio and as yet can't decide on a route.
I've thought about the boot sleeve but I'd need to make an incision into it, something I'm not happy to do.
Personally I think your idea would work but perhaps better to see one in a breakers and have a closer look by removing the headlining.

on my 2020 there is loads of room for wires along the sills and as the plastic trim doesn't go to the carpet really easy to do once you get to the floor that is and i have never seen a car with so much room behind the dash
