Hi.
Neat install.
Does it go blank when driving? Remember that it's an offence to be able to watch TV, DVDs etc within the field of view of the driver when on the move.
The construction and use was amended in 1956 when Rolls Royce and Bentley started fitting Ekco TMB272, 9inch TVs in the dash and there were accidents, so this is an old addition to the construction and use regs.

yes if the handbrake is off it blanks the video input but if you were so minded you could watch things on usb or youtube but being an old bugger only thing i watch is the sat nav and behind me when reversing lol and yes it does obstruct the front vents somewhat but at least it will keep it cool in the sun lol

no its an easy install hardest bit is removing the factory radio and putting the wiring in for the rear speakers as it isnt provided there are some bits that make it a little difficult mainly there not being a steering wheel kit available for the can bus so i have sacrificed those for the moment but hopefully someone will do one soon and then its just a quick retrofit

I'm talking to the connects2 bunch about a steering wheel interface adapter, they tell me the 312 Panda is not one they have got round to testing as yet.

Hope to update you with my efforts

Holy Cow! its enormous (said the actress...)

I assume it dims down at night; thats a large panel to have illuminated.

Interesting though (y)

yes its been in a while now and its great to be able to see the speedo and press of the button to change between km and mph
the original Speedo in my normal driving position is half covered with the wheel and the big display is great with the satnav like it so much i have just replaced my top of the line kenwood in my van with one of these large screen jobs
