im looking to buy cheap antifreeze to change it in the panda. please can someone recommend an not to expensive antifreeze. also it is important to use demineralised water to mix it with the antifreeze or i can use tap water as i always did.thanks

If you are trying to do it cheaply..

Why not just add inhibitor to the current mix ?

I always filled an extra container with the lovely soft water when at a campsite in the hills

Far nicer than the horrid hard water where I lived

Why not spend the right amount on a good brand, and relax, happy that your expensive engine is not dissolving.

Aye , not really where you should be skimping. We all like bargains but I’m of the opinion that the likes of things that are important to the running of your vehicle.

So economising where they can..

But in some respects.. if you cannot afford to change it for a better mix.. then dont
