I thought I would give my new Panda 4x4 a service replacing all the oils
including the rear diff.
I drained the oil out,but when I went to refill it it won't go in.
It just pours straight out of the filler hole.
It does the same even with the drain plug out.Nothing comes out of the drain hole, just the filler.
Any help would be most welcome!

I don't have a 4x4 but are you 100% sure it's the filler plug you removed. Sorry if it sounds demeaning but no offence meant.

Pretty sure it is the filler plug[there are 2 hex plugs,one higher than the other?]
I wonder if I am trying to squeeze it in too quickly?
I am more used to old 70s Ford stuff!

Have you tried warming the oil up (by standing bottles in hot water for a while)? Reducing the viscosity this way should help a lot.

For the lower unit of my outboard (I know, not the same, but also GL4 oil) I use a soappump with a hose attached to it so I can pump the oil in (slowly).
