General climate control not working

General climate control not working

If he has the manual control, he'll have no motorized flaps (and should be thankfull for that).
Had MES on the son in law's Bravo today and I could not read pressures. From my Stilo I remember just getting "pressure too high" when the sensor was broken.

So are we saying because I have manual controls I don’t have a flap problem because i don’t have motorised flaps and if that is the case then what is causing my climate control to run hot all the time

We’ve been told the OP has manual rotary controls (and so is incorrectly saying ‘climate control’ when in fact he just has a ‘heater with manual air con’). I believe the issue is probably nothing at all to do with aircon gas or pressure. To answer steve_grey’s question - no, to fix cable doesn’t mean dash out, but does need some physical flexibility. The ends of the cables should be fitted to a plastic disc on the side of the heater, part way up above the clutch pedal or on the passenger side... See this eBay sale https://www.ebay.co.uk/i/1434949264...MIuvSKw7vf6wIVltwYCh3e6AnYEAQYASABEgIU7fD_BwE - you can see the coloured outer sleeves of the cables, and can see the disc on the end of the yellow one. pretty sure the blue one (swipe thru to photo 4) is the hot/cold flap. The plastic panel beneath the steering wheel can be removed to help see this but you will end up on your back on the road with your head looking up under the dash.
To prove the air con is working and do doesn’t need regassing, turn it on and carefully feel the shiny metal pipes between the back of the drivers side headlight and the bulkhead. One of them will be very cold (careful as it can be very cold indeed). To everyone reading this - note the heater is not blowing ‘uncooled ambient air’ (that would be a result of air on not chilling), but hot air because the air is passing the hot heater matrix... unless by some quirk, the aircon can make heat when broken? (Genuine question - I assume if no gas it just doesn’t get cold, but doesn’t get hot...)

Is it hot air or outside temp air?

If it's blowing hot all the time it's nothing to do with the Aircon it's probably a fault with the climate control system specifically the mixer/bleeder flap that controls the temperature of the air

Hi just noticed today on a long run that no matter what I do with the digital control or aircon all I’m getting is hot air from my 64 Cross, haven’t had car long and not used it much due to blue and me battery issues( now disconnected ) the lights are working but not altering temp, is the fix an easy one for my local guy ? Plus where are the flaps ?
Thanks
