It currently isn't working after new tyres. Found this. Anyone think this will work?!

Have you gone into the dash menu and reset it from there? As far as I am aware it is a passive system and only picks up a difference in wheel rotational speed when a tyre is low via the magnetic ABS sensors on the wheel hubs.

All balanced and pressures right. Gone through dash menu. Reset and light still on. Find it bizarre.

Lifted this from a question regarding resetting the oil check warning.. Thanks everyone for your replies, I followed the reset process in the handbook and on this post but what it doesn't mention is that after you select "YES" you have to press and hold the "SET" until you get the beep.

I was wondering if you had followed the same procedure for resetting the pressure monitor?

Been resetting with the beep for last 27 months. Car checked religiously so not too worried in the short term.

My regular tyre place which should have used turned light off. I couldn't do it by using set^ menu reset tyres yes. Bizarre. Yet procedure in handbook turned off on a previous car. Saved £97 using well known site beginning with second letter of the alphabet. Should have just gone to usual place.
