I've finally finished this little project. I've installed the OE rear speakers with the OE wiring looms and the speakers specific moisture shields and interior door panels.

The improvement in sound quality and volume isn't huge but definitely noticeable. The bass response is improved and the sound stage now feels closer to the driver than before. The sound quality from the back seat is however markedly improved.

I don't see why not, it's easy to test it before one bought any parts though. You can do something like I did in the picture which is to say I hooked up two cheap car speakers I had lying around to test if any sound came through. If I remember correctly the speakers are the two pins at the bottom of the door connector.

Only if the music you're playing is hotter than the heart of the sun :D

Play it the rear speakers loud enough and you might hear the whisper of "if you can hear this, you're dying" on the Great gig...

You can improve the sound further by using this in the doors. ;)
Did this with 3 layers to the rear speakers in my Abarth 595, a world of difference.

my 2020 panda cross only has the wireing installed for the 2 front speakers
 
i ran some speaker cables in and fitted a pair of pod speakers at the side of the rear parcel shelf as can be seen from the photo of the radio plug no cables provided
so ran some new cables the white ones just cable i had laying about just connected them in and used the pins from a scrap iso cable to fit the original connecter
then decided to fit this cheap android to give me sat nav rev cam internet etc etc
