Two fog lights are legal in the UK my Tipo has them
Not sure what your link is getting at?
Only says 1is required but nothing against having a pair as long as they are matched

Hi Chris, in my original post I was simply speculating about the legality of one v's two rear fogs for the UK and (I thought) had made it clear that I had no reference.

The link was simply to check out (and disproves) my theory with a formal reference to debunk any risk of fake news! Dear old Luigi will be pleased!

Herts HH makes the point that single lights may be required for the European market (I have not checked this folks!).

I have been looking at the same issue myself, this light is common to a few vehicles, I have just ordered https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/153534946899
I will look to add red LEDs as per the suggestion above.

I will try to post pictures of the result and process.

Thanks to Coronavirus and some time off I have got around to doing this, it looks great, will post pics soon.

Ok, took 3 goes to get it correct,

Basically i got the LHD reversing light mentioned prevoiously,

salvaged the LEDs from a Mitsubishi outlander cluster,
drilled 8 holes in the back of the new reflector and mounted them, wired them up tested looked great, then broke them whilst finalising the mount and heat sinking, did look like an arc reactor tho..

Ebay to the rescue then...

1w red leds mounted to a salvaged Heatsink, couple of old random resistors to limit current and some epoxy putty in a fetching shade of pink....

Works, Check
Light output, identicle to original, Check
Mounted on car and wired in, Check
Happy, Very!

Looks symmetrical which is great, if I was to go touring I would do the same to the LHS one, and have a switch for left or right fog light (or both depending on regs)
