Technical 0,9 engine sound as it has exhaust leak

Is my Panda supposed to sound like it has an exhaust leak?

Have taken the car to the dealer and they did not find any fault with the exhaust or turbo.

Told me the engine is supposed to sound like this!

no popping, just has a loud exhaust note in higher revs.

Your centre box (long resanator)has two small holes either end to allow condensation escape which makes it sound like its blowing.

Probably correct these things sound odd! Someone on here named theirs Farty! A bit like the boxer engines in for example the Subaru Impreza the have their own sound.

Yes, the TA is loud and farty. And mine pops and bangs on the overrun.

If it is a TA then YES it is . Fear not just sit back, gun it and revel in the noiseIf you had been brought up on old Brit mo'bikes of the 40s, 50s and early 60s you would really feel at home whilst still remaining warm. dry and free of unscheduled stops (Sometimes inaccurately known as "breakdowns)

Clearly a "farty" Panda is due to, too much bamboo, and an inadequately varied diet. (I suppose the "up" side of this is his Mum doesn't insist he eats broccoli):devil:
