My 8 month old Panda Cross is with Fiat at the moment having the master cylinder replaced, very disconcerting yesterday when the clutch pedal wouldn't rise back when changing gear.

Any others had a similar problem on such a new vehicle? I heard rumours that it is a known 500 fault.

Al is right mine was at a similar age. The return spring is inside the cyliner and apparently is not the most reliable. I had the car for some time after and had no repetition, It was replaced in less than 2 hours under warranty. It worked sometimes and not others and then worked but felt wrong. Dealer identified and agrees the issue no trouble. I am watching the new car as I now dont trust this part... Thats only got to 3800 miles so far.
