Although my city cross is under 14000 miles the Vectors were far from my favourite tyre. Noisy and even worse under braking, they also transmit every bit of irregularity and roughness on the road surface. Dry handling is poor. So I've replaced all four with Nexens for a transformation of the car. The Vectors will be fitted to steels for any bad winter weather. My 2017 Cross has the earlier Vector version, perhaps the new version is better but the ones I had got a thumbs down from me.

Covered about 700 miles now on the 4Season tyres, at first thought they were a bit jiggly picking up on the road surface. Checked the pressures to find the fitters had them at 29psi all round! Reset to handbook recommended pressures and all fine. Don't notice any difference in noise over the Duragrips, which surprised me, mpg maybe down 1 or 2 but could also be due to the first thankful used being supermarket fuel rather than the Esso I usually fill up with. Will monitor it as we go along.
