Why not compare the part numbers
My punto is same year and engine..
But 6 speed.. so will not fit in the tiny car..

Correct - all TA Pandas have 5-speed box, except 4x4/Cross. The latter gets an extra gear a the bottom of the box - an extra-low first gear.

Just to clarify.. my ta punto employs 6 conventionally spaced ratios.

169 100HP has a sixspeed. Makes the turningcircle a ridiculous 11 metres, but it fits.

OP was asking about TA from 2013... likely to be room, but not ever supplied with 6 speed (unless 4x4)
My point was that the 169 is slightly smaller then the 319 so it might fit.
But comparing the part#s in E-Per might show that all 5speedboxes are the same.

My 500 TA 105 had a 6 speed (normal ratio) box as standard. I had it before I switched to the Panda 4x4. I'd have thought there was more room under the bonnet in the Panda with it being a touch longer and more boxy.

It's a width issue (or length of gearbox) and I'm pretty certain tne engine bay's the same width in 500 and Panda as the platform's the same. The TA engine's narrower (shorter block for twin) than the 1.2 (or 1.4 for 100HP) so the turning circle isn't affected so much in the 4x4/Cross. I never found the larger turning circle of the 100HP to be much of a problem.
