Technical Power loss and flashing engine management light - 1.2l Easy

Hi,

The engine management light flashes and there is a dramatic loss in power when around 2nd/3rd. After initially thinking it was a dodgy fuel issue and replacing the spark plugs it's still happening. No code was stored, either. Any idea what my next move should be? I was thinking about replacing the HT leads?

If it is ignition related then an intermittent misfire won't always set a code. I would start by changing the HT leads. If that doesn't do it then it could be a failing coil pack. They are around £100 to replace. But you can check if it is working ok with some of these:
