General Noop is Status 40

General Noop is Status 40

Noop was apparently not status 40... 16 weeks and getting bored. By the time Noop arrives he may find I am driving an Ignis. No scrub that idea. That 4.6 Range Rover with a new high spec engine is still on offer but 17mpg really would hurt. Brother reports the new V8 diesel is doing 33mpg on his European tour. Makes Pandas 37mpg look even more sad.

If you'd only lose your deposit Pete and want rid of the 4x4 sell it. The Mylife and the inherited Perodua all you need in my eyes. :)

I wonder why it's taking so long. Mine took 10 weeks. I hope it all works out.

Perodua went in PX for the Mylife. Now £450 down the road I am happy that Mylife is in top order and safe to drive..... I need to check and rustproof the rear axle and clean de-rust the sump and brake drums then I will be happy. Body and interior are as good as new. But its my daughters.

I am happy with my decision to get the waze. With a 5 year warranty I can relax and let it have condensation in the oil. If its as good overall as the 4x4 I will be well suited.

Took the towbar off Pandatoni the other day and will give it a spruce before fitting to the new car. Its a very simple job. My electic plug tester came today which will make it easier. Have the sill protectors, boot / bumper protector, mirror caps and a set of new mats waiting to go in. Whats the betting I get the mats its supposed to have? I will probably end up with 4 sets! Just need to get the dinitrol ordered. 1 more trip to Manchester next week for the 4x4. Note to self. Don't go speeding in demob week!!!

See what you men about the 1 piece exhaust. Our Seat has same set up. Dealer said buy the whole thing no one can sell parts.... I went back 15 minutes later with the part I needed and showed it to him. Also told him what I thought. The whole saler's will probably have this in two parts just for ease of handling and fitting. It looks plumb for a stainless system. I was quoted 400 for the whole system for the 100HP so this should be not much different.

It will be here next week re checking its 13.5 weeks so not too bad and as Hillhopper suggests I have specified it back to Standard 4x4 levels and added climate control and City brake assist on top. I hope I dont regret the last one!

Car will be with me by Friday so I will report on how it goes. I hope........ that this is the last car I will buy. My miles should drop tom low soon and it will be nursed. Someone is going to get a cracker when they buy the old one.

I love my Waze 4x4 despite the initial issues i had with the dealer. It's a 10 year car for me and I'm really happy i chose this version. Good luck with yours. I'm sure you'll love it!
