Often Asda do similar.
Ive never personally bought magnatec.. due to it failing
the lab tests of 'the opposition'
When it was launched..
Remarkably it had a ' new formula' label on the packs after a few months.

Magnatec is a double edged sword. It uses a ferrous compound additive to "stick" to the cylinder wall and piston ring which helps a lpt for cold starts and cold weather operation but fares poorly for longevity as the compound also tends to cause particle retention in the oil. Good for colder climates and drivers with frequent short trips.
I got Motul 8100 X Clean C3, phew.
