Third/Current Generation Panda won't lock doors via central locking using keyfob.

Can manual lock 3 doors then drivers via key. Boot doesn't lock so currently reversed against wall.
IN FACT SHOULD LOCKING DRIVERS DOOR (WITH KEY) ALSO LOCK BOOT?

Can unlock via fob so its battery ok.

Its not issue with opening boot via key fob as this caught me out enough times to remember.

Instrument panel saying left and right rear doors open but checked and they're definitely fully closed; as is passenger

Thoughts as car not fully secure tonight

Could be?

Sounds like an electrical issue with the door close mechanism in that it's not recognizing that the doors are closed, therefore refusing to lock them. I don't know where exactly their sensors are, ehich is worth a check, but since it won't lock the boot as well it might be a fuse, electrical short, or body computer issue that's misreading sensor signals (if they aren't the issue in the first place). Also, as is typical, it might just be low battery voltage playing mind games before giving up the ghost in cold weather.

After checking it seems it's tailgate even though dashboard info says rear doors. Deduced this as someone else suggested that key in driver's door should lock boot also which it doesn't. Wouldn't know which fuse to check unless someone got any web info on checking fuse for this model?

Think Google said might be dirt but what do I check tailgate?

Does the interior light go off after a short time when you shut all the doors (but without trying to lock the car)? I think the switches contained within the door latches inside the doors and boot (not really 'sensors' - more mechanical than that) that operate the interior light are also used to confirm all the doors are shut. Won't be a fuse... if central locking is unlocking, would be the same fuse to lock.

Central locking not working but the fob can unlock doors if I manual locked 3 and key locked the driver's. Maybe that gives some pointers and things to discount?

In fact your comment reminds me that once I was in the car (after unlocking) the interior light might have stayed on when engine started. Need to double check in morning as I've locked manually for night up against a wall...
