Hi All

My Panda has no Brake Lights when using the Brake Pedal
Ive check the Fuse and Bulbs . I also get ESC Error on the dash

I think it could be the switch but I cant seem to find it
Could please Help

Ah ha - not where you'd expect it to be! Look up into the passenger side footwell, and you'll spot a black plastic casing more or less above where a passenger's feet go. In there is the mechanism that turns the action of the brake pedal though 90 degress and through to the master cylinder and servo. (Item 1 in this rather fuzzy drawing https://www.fiatdalys.lt/diagrams/0C/0C570E89BA2246265B5B33093FAA023B.png )

On the side of that unit (pointing towards the centre of the car) should be the white plastic switch. A passenger with big feet may have knocked that... Info from that switch also (in connection with a switch on the clutch pedal) detects emergency braking (and triggers 'emergency brake assist') and if the brake switch is not functioning, I'd suspect that is why you see the ESC warning.

Hi, if you search panda section for “Esc/hill holder” the third result is my post which explains how I had an issue with this switch, the part you need and how it fixed my issue. Hope it helps.
