Hello,
I'm wondering if someone else has had a similar problem to this.

I recently had a slow puncture and the tyre pressure warning light came on. The problem was resolved and the correct pressure was reinstated but I'm unable to reset the warning light following the procedure in the manual. Further investigation lead to the discovery that I now can't change any user settings !

This is a reoccurrence of a similar problem I had a couple of years ago, but the car was then in warranty and the dealership "reset the software" - at that time. I just noticed that I couldn't reset the tyre pressure system - I don't know if the problem extended to all user settings but I would say the balance of probability is that it is the same issue.

Thanks

The only advice I'd give is to disconnect the earth from the car battery for 30 minutes and see if that clears the issue. Other than that a trip to the dealer is on the cards.

I swapped onto winter tyres last week and one had a slow puncture so the TPMS light did come one. Having sat in the car 5 minutes trying to recall how to access the menu I then was ale to update the woefully innaccurate clock and easily tab through the menu to the TPMS part and click to reset and then again to be 'sure'.

Hi Guys,

Thanks for the replys. I tried disconnecting the battery and was rewarded with another warning light coming on (particulate filter) - fortunately that one went out of its own accord after a while.

On taking the car to the local garage (for local people), they told me the data had become corrupted - . Whatever they did, the light is now out.

As this has happened both times the warning light has come on, I'm assuming I'm going to be stuck with a £40 "Fiat S/W incompetence tax" every time I get a puncture - In addition for the £80 for a new tyre
