OK... I commented in a thread before regarding clutch etc and I said my mechanic mate would fix my car.... He's since moved away.

Can one of you guys with a twinair (500 would work too I guess) have a look at their pedals (clutch pedal) and see if the circled switch is stuck on position like mine??? I'd be eternally grateful. Screenshot_20181014_201945.jpeg

Not sure it's any different in Twinair and 1.2. However, your switch appears to have a black-cable-tie around it which mine didn't. The black tadpole-shaped 'lever' which is ensnared by the cable tie is what is used to release the switch/connector.

What's not seen on this image is the articulating plastic switch which is moved back and forth by the operation of the clutch. The image I pasted here shows more detail:
