Clutch switch

OK... I commented in a thread before regarding clutch etc and I said my mechanic mate would fix my car.... He's since moved away.

Can one of you guys with a twinair (500 would work too I guess) have a look at their pedals (clutch pedal) and see if the circled switch is stuck on position like mine??? I'd be eternally grateful. Click image for larger version

Not sure it's any different in Twinair and 1.2. However, your switch appears to have a black-cable-tie around it which mine didn't. The black tadpole-shaped 'lever' which is ensnared by the cable tie is what is used to release the switch/connector.

What's not seen on this image is the articulating plastic switch which is moved back and forth by the operation of the clutch. The image I pasted here shows more detail:
