'Waze' - named after the free
satnav app which is now incorporated (badly) into the Panda Uconnect App (which all new Pandas can access anyway). But you do get the little 'Waze' logo on the front wings. Wow...
Otherwise, it is 'just' a petrol Panda using the old faithful 1.2 'Fire' engine, and no off road kit of any sort, altough it does get all season tyres.
Panda Uconnect is the replacement for Blue&ME. It will now only let you use handsfree on the phone if the radio is turned on... and is supposed to give you a simpler one-app-control to reach music, sat nav etc in your phone. It works, but not well. It is described by Fiat as if you can more easily use to touch screen of the phone to control the radio etc. But since, when it is in the dashboard cradle it is further away than the controls on the radio itself, not sure that this really is the case. But, it will let you stream your music via Bluetooth, and (if you set the satnav apps on your phone to use Bluetooth for sound prompts) will play these theough the car speakers too without neeing a cable plugged in to the dash. Great... really feel I need that (I tend to have the plug in anyway to keep the iPhone battery charged, so no gain there). There are none of the 'remote functions' that Uconnect gives in other Fiats - no remote locking or remote starting via the phone, for example. Don't get sucked in. When my 4x4 was recently written off (its been replaced now), I had a brand new Ford Fiesta as a loan car: fully integrated touch screen on the dash and all the car/phone/music/satnav functions so easy to control. The Panda Uconnect app is a very poor cousin by comparison. (Panda 4x4 better car though!)
