If the information I've come across to be believed, it's a 1.2 City Cross with 2 Phone Apps on. The C02 is 2 g/km up, now 131 so more expensive rfl :((new results perhaps). Also seen something suggesting the car only £11100, though could be pre vat. Fiat website not the best sadly. :(

'Waze' - named after the free satnav app which is now incorporated (badly) into the Panda Uconnect App (which all new Pandas can access anyway). But you do get the little 'Waze' logo on the front wings. Wow...

Otherwise, it is 'just' a petrol Panda using the old faithful 1.2 'Fire' engine, and no off road kit of any sort, altough it does get all season tyres.

Panda Uconnect is the replacement for Blue&ME. It will now only let you use handsfree on the phone if the radio is turned on... and is supposed to give you a simpler one-app-control to reach music, sat nav etc in your phone. It works, but not well. It is described by Fiat as if you can more easily use to touch screen of the phone to control the radio etc. But since, when it is in the dashboard cradle it is further away than the controls on the radio itself, not sure that this really is the case. But, it will let you stream your music via Bluetooth, and (if you set the satnav apps on your phone to use Bluetooth for sound prompts) will play these theough the car speakers too without neeing a cable plugged in to the dash. Great... really feel I need that (I tend to have the plug in anyway to keep the iPhone battery charged, so no gain there). There are none of the 'remote functions' that Uconnect gives in other Fiats - no remote locking or remote starting via the phone, for example. Don't get sucked in. When my 4x4 was recently written off (its been replaced now), I had a brand new Ford Fiesta as a loan car: fully integrated touch screen on the dash and all the car/phone/music/satnav functions so easy to control. The Panda Uconnect app is a very poor cousin by comparison. (Panda 4x4 better car though!)

Got all that info from my thread yesterday

Petrol only..

As I suspected..a budget way of shifting old kit..

As I'm on my second Nokia 1600, modern phones linking to a car goes over my head really. City Cross probably would do me secondhand one day, ground clearance may do me in standing water, ice and snow.

Charlie, a Panda TA 4x4 with fitted aftermarket cruise might be nice. Expect to pay £500 . Maybe PM Goudrons or R1NGA, they'll point you in the right direction. :)

Glad to hear your thoughts. I gave Fiat customer services hell over the radio when I got my car. I ranted on here too. I have now more or less figured it out and its OK but why not just fit a proper radio cd.... You got me going again. I want to drive the b****y car not sit in it programmings its B computer just to play music I have had on cd for many years. This silly system requires far too much input for simply getting it to play!

Still freely available for £305 + fitting or it should be an easy DIY. I am on the point of taking th plunge.

Underwhelmed. Free apps? Wow!!

Think I'll Wave the Waze goodbye.

Just been Panda Picture hunting. The Waze appears to have different alloys, wing badges, subtly different side trims and bumpers. Seat fabric also different. Its quite a stylish look. There is always another stylish look ...

I stick to the bog standard look as it matches what I see in the mirror. An old fart like me jumping out of a snazzy one off just wouldn't look right

gar074 the Waze can be had in yellow, now £500 colour option, not £700 as before. That reduction applies to the TA Cross thankfully, best colour. Sadly a Panda Waze TA will go down on the list of great what might have beens (for me anyway) Not quite as great as Citroen BX Turbo Diesel 4x4 Estate we never got here in the UK, but hey. (y)

Is this the same yellow as tropical Yellow available on the cross 4x4. Currently have a yellow abarth but didn’t order a yellow cross as the yellow looks very pale yellow. However have seen pictures of yellow waze and it looks good.

Same shade of yellow apparently. Not sure can specify body colour mirrors, door handles and heated mirrors anymore, reading new brochure pdf may give me an answer on that one.
