I've never been very good at these 'spot the difference' competitions.
Can someone send me the answers?

I think the existing handbrake is different on RHD and LHD(not certain).

new-old handbrake isn't. It is probably just the old panda one underneath. that is a less parts to carry in stock.

As the newer handbrake is confusing to drivers unfamiliar with it, it would count against it for car hire companies.

"mouse-shaped lever" is what we already have, the old fashion lever is what we will get. ;)

Thats progress! Its soooo impressive..... I still plan to keep my Panda for at least 10 years unless they do a new one that is much better and cheaper to run.

WHat we need is an electric Panda with a 10 mile range!

What we need is a plug in electric Panda with a decent range!

TBH, i would not be surprised to see a "FIAT Tipo" style front on the face-lifted Panda.
Now that from Italy seeps through that the Panda get a fairly thorough update at the end of this year.
That would be the first time for the successful model from 2012.
The in Pomiglano d’Arco produced small five-door will both optically and technically updated.
On the outside, the new model will be identified as new.
Under the hood we will finally see the new GSE-Firefly (1.0 three-cylinder) engine and a mild hybrid system.
The new engine for the renewed Panda is going (as said) to be produced in Termoli.
In the interior the Uconnect screen (as we have seen in other Fiat’s to know), will be integrated into the new dashboard.

I wonder if the fairly thorough update will also eliminate the Squirrel theme of the present Panda.

I hope te see this engine soon to be available. :D
GSE Firefly 999cc 3 cylinder turbo engine with 120 hp.
Veeeery interesting to see the turbo waste gate actuator rod in this picture. The spherical swivel end (held in place by that C clip) looks exactly like the new modified version which appeared on the replacement turbo they fitted to my Ibiza when it's old "square" design seized on the end secured to the waste gate lever. It was seized so solid it might as well have been welded in place! (at 2 years old and 12'000 miles!)

The Same here, and i get impatient.
There will be a point of no return that i'm changing to something else (non fiat) if Fiat do not show something new and interesting very soon.

I got to that point with Alfa Romeo - I loved my 33s, my 155, and the pair of 156s we had. I still have my 75.

But when the 156 was written off, we tested both the 159 and Giulietta and bought... a Saab 9-3 Aero. The 159 looked like an Alfa, but drove like a Vauxhall, and the Giulietta was little more than a warmed over Bravo. Just as the MiTO is a warmed over Punto.

Unless Alfa can persuade Leaseplan that the Giulia is the most reliable, cheapest to run, and least depreciating car in class, I'll end up with another BMW or a Lexus for work next year, too.

Alas, it is true. If you wouldn't be without the mouse shaped handbrake you need something with the Hill Descent Dial as conventional handbrake is back otherwise. While it never needed adjusting, it could occasionally stick. The mouse one been faultless. Also makes it so much easier to grab first gear. So if I ever want a TA 4x4 in green with winter pack and USB and Auxillary in again, going to have to be a 67 plate at the latest. Shame. The only Panda never been able to fault, and I'm fussy.
