Hi all,
While driving last night (admittedly with low fuel light on, but two segments still on the fuel gauge and 30 miles range left) the CD that I was listening to paused, and the radio display suddenly showed Alarm. I pressed the Media button on the radio and the message cleared and the CD resumed. No other warning lights came on.
I've never seen this before, and can't find a reference to it in the handbook. Any ideas what it might be?

Unsure about head unit display but low fuel can vary between range going blank before 30 miles, low fuel chime and message coming up, or just fuel light coming on. I had a beep noise the other day for no apparent reason. Just keep an eye out for message again, unlikely to be serious.

If the alarm showed on the HU, rather than the dash, I'd suggest it's either the traffic alerts kicking in, or - if your phone was connected via bluetooth - an actual alarm going off on your phone

It definitely wasn't an alarm set on the phone, and no traffic alert came on the radio (this was about 11.15pm).
The range had gone blank earlier in the day, but I knew I was only making a short journey and should be OK. When I was on the return journey, the range showed 32 miles and stayed at that all the way back.
It hasn't come back, so I guess I'll see what happens when this tank of petrol gets low!

Sounds alarming ha ha. I have given up wondering about these things as everthing is wired to everything else. Not anything I have ever seen. He was probably just checking you were awake! Its an Italian thing.
