My new Panda City Cross finally arrived. Worth the wait.

Love it already.

Looks best in white with dark windows.

Just the small matter of disconnecting the clutch switch now and it's ready to go.

well doesn't that look fabulous, love it, have you driven it yet:):D

Yes. Did the school run. A very quiet and smooth engine with a drop in acceleration after the Twin Air 4x4. But I'm already liking it the more flexible engine and less gear changes.(y)

Appears City Cross has the 66 plate onwards Lounge seats without the "leather". Comfiest I've sat in and surprisingly resistant to dirt too. Did your TA 4x4 have drivers seat height adjustment, as that makes a difference too.

TA had seat height adjustment as does my new CC. It has the "leather" side squabs too but the seats overall do not have the very contrasting looks of my TA seats. The darker look will as you say, be easier to keep looking reasonable.

What clutch switch and why disconnect?

I have a 2013 1,2l with no stop/start.

Nice to have heated elec mirrors on City Cross (optional on Lounge which I forgot). Phone cradle will fit slim satnav and can plug mp3 size DAB radio into aux socket in glovebox. Bought a drawstring bag for mine when had the Lounge. Can't leave in view on the 4x4 but zips in coat pocket fine.

thereby ruining your setting off.

Try as I might, I can see no issues with setting off in my TwinAir Cross, although I can see the revs rise if I release the clutch with no throttle. That other thread says the revs rise "disproportionately up to 2000 rpm at times". 2000 rpm is about typical for departure in the Cross anyway, so maybe the gearing makes a difference.

Quite possibly the switch works better in the TA versions, any negative comments re the switch are from 1.2 owners where it is a PITA.
If you are happy with the way the car moves off from rest then just leave it as is.

Clutch switch works better on the '15 and later Euro 6 cars with hillholder, and especially on the 4x4. But still need some throttle even though clutch switch should let you set off on the biting point without throttle like with a diesel.

Fionam the City Cross can be had in black, two different metallic greys and yellow apparently. All a bit different. :)

I disconnected the switch after 200 miles on our 2017 Lounge. It just does not work well at all.

I've had a 4x4 TA for five years and over 59000 miles. I don't understand the comments about the clutch switch (to be honest I don't know what it is or does), so I don't know why you'd disconnect it. I also don't know why you'd choose a model that only looks like a Cross but isn't one but that's matter of choice.
