The all new 4th Gen Panda could be based on the Citroën C3.
Rumor has it that the new Panda will be a B-segment car.



Where the Opel/Vauxhall Corsa is Peugeot 208 based, could the next Panda be Citroën C3 Based, with all the new Firefly engines.

3 cylinder Firefly Hybrid 70 hp.
4 cylinder Firefly Hybrid 105 hp.
3 cylinder Firefly Turbo 120 hp.
4 cylinder Firefly Turbo 150 hp.

Too big and too like the Uno thing. Tart up the C1 and make it square.

Anyway, surely the next Panda is leccy and shares its platform with the Citroen Ami:

I mean, I loved the ugliness of the original Ami but this one seems a little too recherché.

Rather than the Ami, I would like to see it based on the 2CV and with a very simple, very robust, very reliable, easy to repair/service, flat twin air cooled petrol engine of about 600cc. No need for complicated electronics or other modern "unnecessaries" It could even have flat bolt on panels and a real chassis.
Come to think of it I've had a few of those in the past the good old "Deuch"
The new one should however be RUSTPROOF
